What’s your pleasure? If a big, luxurious, fast, comfortable and expensive sedan will do the trick, read on. Otherwise, why not check out our travel or restaurants pages for varied entertainment. Will it be an Italian thoroughbred (Masserati Quattroporte), a competing German shepherd (Mercedes-Benz S-Class), an English cat (Jaguar SV8) to enshrine your status level? BMWs are a bit of a cult car family—you either love them and will drive nothing else but a Bimmer, or you wonder what essential oil they were diffusing in Chris Bangle’s design office and adopt one of the above-mentioned pets.

Bring along your graduation certificate for the iDrive Academy, spend a few minutes exercising your right hand on the “smart” knob and you’ll get this baby purring just the way you want. It can’t be stressed enough how much this automobile is loaded with boundless electronic gizmos. This is an $82,000 car after all, so we won’t bother mentioning all of its many features, but we would be remiss if we didn’t tell you about the nifty climate-controlled front storage compartment—although it’s sadly too small for a palate-pleasing bottle of Krug. Whether you like the exterior design or not (it was substantially changed for 2006), we had a hard time finding an angle we loved and squinting the eye you’d be hard-pressed to differentiate it from a 5-Series.

Mercedes-Benz S550

|

Should you buy a Mercedes-Benz S550 today? “Yes.” It’s a totally new luxury sedan that delivers a lot more car for less money than its predecessor.

Now in its ninth generation, the S-Class is a leap forward in all aspects. Competition and a less reliable previous edition forced the three-pointed star manufacturer to deliver a strong contender for the top of its class. Start with a sharp design emphasizing a muscular stance above and beyond a simple luxury ride. Add to it a compilation of beautifully handcrafted materials inside and perhaps a more austere dashboard than expected. Then throw in all the passive and active safety systems you could imagine and a satisfying high-performance powerplant, and it might be difficult to assign any other grade than the top one.

Information

This car is amazing. There was only six made of these great Porsches. The 0-60 mph time is 2.1 sec., 0-100 mph time is 3.9 sec., and the 0-200 mph time is 13.4 sec.!! Even if it gets 3.4 mpg it has a 105.6-gallon gas tank!!! The weight is 1764 pounds!! The engine can get 1580 horsepower if you wanted to and it could reach a top speed of 285 mph if you had the perfect aerodynamics!!! This was winning races left and right and this caused changing the rules. Roger Penske mostly helped this race when they did. Plus, it only has a five-speed gearbox!!

The Engine and Specifications

The long awaited Ferrari F430 is here with its mind blowing design and of course the all new 4,308 cc V8 engine. The acceleration from zero to sixty in 3.9 seconds definitely proves that this is one of the coolest cars on the market. The top speed goes well over 195 miles per hour. At 186 mph the aerodynamics add a greater force of six hundred sixteen pounds. The Gestione Sportiva F1 racing division completely inspired the design. There are many other things that you can completely have custom to your Ferrari including: carbon ceramic discs that are sure to stop you on a dime, an F1 paddle shifter to add elegance and quickness to any shift. The technical design easily transfers the torque levels to the street under hard circumstances like hard g-force turns so the tires won’t lose grip or spin out. The nineteen inch wheels and the worthy suspension make any drive in the F430 not only pleasurable, but almost orgasmic :)

Front-Drive Follies
It's a simple matter of physics — in particular, the change in the center of gravity location during acceleration. When you lay into the gas, the sprung mass rotates around the geometric axis and effectively shifts the weight rearward. So under acceleration, more of a car's weight transfers onto the rear wheels and off the front wheels. Therefore, the front wheels get less traction and the rear wheels get more.

2009 Frankfurt Auto Show Day 1 Highlights Video 2010 Audi

What that means, burnout-wise, is that with less traction a powerful front-driver's front wheels will spin, but won't produce the friction against the pavement necessary to produce the billowy clouds of magnificent smoke that are what burnouts are all about.

More importantly, since Inside Line's scientifically somewhat precise method of judging a burnout is to measure the visible rubber stripe left by a car on the pavement during a burnout, the stripes left by a front-driver are fainter than a rear-driver's and therefore more difficult to measure. So there's more subjective evaluation in this still-stupendous contest than there was in our previous two.

Blue Lamborghini

The first 2008 Auto show (Detroit Auto Show) is on the way but this is the first thing that i find interesting : Blue Lamborghini I always loved black and red as car colors but i think that the blue is interesting too .

This blue color is called “Blu Cepheus” and comes with the Lamborghini personalization program. Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini’s president and CEO says that this blue color is “inspired by the purity and transparency of polar ice ” and that the color is |one of the most glamorous shades in fashion today .”

Another interesting thing stated by Stephan Winkelmann was “Lamborghini is strongly focusing on the Ad Personam personalization program due to the importance of offering customers the widest range of possibilities for individualizing their cars”. I really love companies that offer the chance of really making a car “YOURS”.

The front tires are secured inside the notable fenders, allowing only for lock to lock stirring. The grill shell mimics the Bugatti Type 57, only 4 inches shorter to complement the car, while the radiator shell is topped by a copy of the iconic Hispano Suiza stork. The gleaming paint and bodywork are achieved with the careful application of the RM black and 5335 Glamor. The black finish effectively strengthens the classical character that the car parades. This is further heightened by the red leather seats, and the outmoded yet elegant carpeting and trunk interior.

Cool Cars Hot Ladies Pick coolcarshotgirls.com
This ride is definitely a cool car that will bring the ladies. After all, it does kind of look like a ladies car ;) Hehe. Although it's a sports car, it seems the test results show that it isn't that great of a sports car. The cloth top model will turn heads. It takes roughly twelve seconds to fold down the top. Aluminum trip surrounding powerful gages looks beautiful (sorry we don't have any shots of the inside). The engine is a 200 horsepower 3.2 liter v6. Sadly the 2.0 turbo only comes in front wheel drive (dual clutch trans). All 3.2 models have a Quattro all wheel drive and offers a S tonic or a regular 6 speed manual. Check out the pics of this cool car!
